PASSING OF PRESIDENT HINCKLEY
This past weekend was our Stake Conference. President Hinckley's son Richard Hinckley was our speaker. They announced in the Saturday evening session that he would not be speaking because he was called to return home to Salt Lake that afternoon. The chapel was packed. More so than usual. You could hear everyones shocked reaction when the news was announced. Brother Hinckley arrived in Vegas Saturday morning. It kinda made us wonder if something was wrong with President Hinckley since he received the call home by President Boyd K. Packer and not a family member. So sad, but so wonderful how the heavens are rejoicing for the return home of our beloved Prophet.

I was really surprised - well kinda and kinda not - you know what I mean. We were supposed to have one of the 12 speak in our Stake too but it was changed a couple weeks ago. It will be an interesting few weeks before next Conference! Take care
Linda gave me the lowdown about Berylynn, I think you should have gone to the papers!!! The school should have notified every parent in writing! Good for Berlynn!
